“Thought is pure energy. Every thought you have, have ever had, and ever will have is creative. The energy of your thought never ever dies. Ever. It leaves your being and heads out into the universe, extending forever. A thought is forever.”
This book had been on my reading list for years and it really didn’t disappoint. Although God is in the title, it could be called ‘Conversations With A Spirit – or Guide – or The Other Realm’ – it was more of a spiritual and inspirational guide rather than a religious one. In fact, there were so many ‘ah-ha’ moments, I was constantly highlighting and making notes!
Neale Donald Walsch wrote a letter to ‘God’ in a state of frustration at a low point in his life and recorded all the answers that he received and although it may seem a little ‘woo woo’, it was so powerful that I read the entire book in one afternoon. This book covers everything, all the questions you have about life, money, relationships and why things don’t work for you the way you wish they would. I only wish I read it sooner as after reading it, I finally gave myself the permission NOT to seek perfection and to approach life with gratitude, an open heart and curiosity – all of which I think we could all benefit from.
This is definitely a book for the open minded and anyone curious about life and looking for truths, ‘ah ha’ moments and new ways of seeing the world.

“The First Law is that you can be, do, and have whatever you can imagine. The Second Law is that you attract what you fear.”
“What you resist persists. What you look at disappears.”
“Suffering has nothing to do with events, but with one’s reaction to them.”
“Expectations ruin relationships.”
