Thought is pure energy. Every thought you have, have ever had, and ever will have is creative. The energy of your thought never ever dies. Ever. It leaves your being and heads out into the universe, extending forever. A thought is forever.

This book had been on my reading list for years and it really didn’t disappoint. Although God is in the title, it could be called ‘Conversations With A Spirit – or Guide – or The Other Realm’ – it was more of a spiritual and inspirational guide rather than a religious one. In fact, there were so many ‘ah-ha’ moments, I was constantly highlighting and making notes!

Neale Donald Walsch wrote a letter to ‘God’ in a state of frustration at a low point in his life and recorded all the answers that he received and although it may seem a little ‘woo woo’, it was so powerful that I read the entire book in one afternoon. This book covers everything, all the questions you have about life, money, relationships and why things don’t work for you the way you wish they would. I only wish I read it sooner as after reading it, I finally gave myself the permission NOT to seek perfection and to approach life with gratitude, an open heart and curiosity – all of which I think we could all benefit from.

This is definitely a book for the open minded and anyone curious about life and looking for truths, ‘ah ha’ moments and new ways of seeing the world.

Why I love it:

  • It made me question my beliefs about the world and life around me
  • It gave me the permission to be my authentic self and not seek permission from others
  • It gave me clarity on questions I had based around finances, wealth and success
  • It reaffirmed how I am the creator of my own life and my thoughts, become decisions, that become actions
  • There were so many truths that really resonated with me and hundreds of ‘ah ha’ moments
  • It encouraged me to question my reaction to events and how they’re affecting me on a daily basis
  • It challenged me to consider alternate beliefs and start looking at life from a place of abundance rather than lacking.
  • It gave me the confidence to believe that I already have all the answers inside of me to all the questions I have ever thought

What it covers:

  • How the dialogue began
  • Who God communicates to
  • Why you should pay attention to all dialogues, life events, thoughts, dreams and relationships
  • The relationship between fear and love
  • What is right and wrong
  • The sponsoring thought
  • The freedom of choice
  • The power of thoughts
  • Health, wealth, relationships and success
  • Why life happens for you and not against you
  • Having the tools to create whoever you want to be

Why you should read it:

  • If you’re curious about life
  • If you’re looking to make a change and need that kick start to get you going
  • If you feel like everything happens against you rather than for you
  • If you’re in a low state and need a boost
  • To get you out of a funk
  • To learn new ways of seeing the world and life around you
  • To open your mind to new ways of believing
  • If you’re looking for clarity and truths
  • If you’re on the search for ‘ah ha’ moments
  • If you’re a spiritual being looking for more answers

All human actions are motivated at their deepest level by one of two emotions – fear or love.

It is your judgements which keep you from joy, and your expectations which make you unhappy.

The First Law is that you can be, do, and have whatever you can imagine. The Second Law is that you attract what you fear.

What you resist persists. What you look at disappears.

Suffering has nothing to do with events, but with one’s reaction to them.

Expectations ruin relationships.
