Pilates is perhaps one of my favourite forms of exercise and it's by far my favourite to teach!

With most of us sitting at desks all day, chilling out on the sofa or straining our necks scrolling through social media, our posture has taken a bit of a hit!

Pilates is fantastic because it focuses on the core muscles, the alignment of the body and looking at drawing the body back to 'neutral' - this is great news when it comes to correcting our posture! I put together a video of 5 of my favourite exercises that promote a healthy, open and lengthened posture by focusing on pulling those shoulders away from the ears, opening the chest and lifting from the crown of the head.

Let's start mobilising that upper back and work on that posture!
